C. Viper Fan Expo 2010 cosplay

This was my cosplay for the Saturday of Fan Expo Canada 2010. I went as Crimson Viper from Street Fighter 4.

I sewed the shirt and made the sunglasses, the belt buckle and the hair myself. The hair was partly my own hair done up and sprayed red and partly a hairpiece that I fashioned from stretchy fabric and a ton of hair from a looong wig. This costume was quite the process, but I think I did okay for it being my second self-made cosplay. I didn't make the suit or the skinny tie myself - I'm not that good at sewing!!

Anyway, I was by myself at the convention that day so I didn't have anyone with me to take pictures of my cosplay at the con. Lots of people took my picture, though! If you see my picture around the internet anywhere, please link me to it or send it to me at velvetarms [at] gmail [dot] com.

Thanks for looking! Here is the only side shot that I have of my hair (taken myself). Oh yeah, and kids? Don't use Krazy glue to stick sunglasses to your face unless you are prepared for the consequences! 'Nuff said!
