This is going to be the image used for the award given to the artists who win the Inuyasha Feudal Association's award for Best Group Depiction in an artwork.
This took a really long time. Umm... 15 hours. That seems long to me. Anyhow, this is the first time I've ever drawn Shippou! Isn't he a cutie? His cheeks are stuffed with food, BTW. The point of view is Kagome's and the whole idea is that she's taking a snapshot of the rest of the group as they are enjoying a stop for lunch. The IYFA is a group of fans that nominate, vote and distribute awards for outstanding Inuyasha fan fiction and fan art. Interested in joining? I'm glad you like the artistic quality of my work, and I'm going to "keep on drawing" no matter what anyone says.
As for the way I draw the characters, it's called artistic license. It's not "trying to be them", it's my interpretation of them.
