I'm so glad you think I did alright on his expression!!!! I wanted to convey a mixture of yearning/confusion with somewhat glazed eyes. There will be sparks from the sealing dagger.

Is there anything you would change? At this point I can still change things easily. I looked up Japanese daggers and picked a plain one that looked fairly common, but I really don't know much about them.

Since I've re-read that part of the chapter, I realized that Sessh would be coherent the entire time he was sealed because that bitch evil miko wasn't going to seal him completely!! I'm so afraid he's going to be insane when/if he comes out of it!!!! @____@ Truly a fate worse than death. Sessh really got the raw end of the deal there!

Hmmm... his armor seems a tad bulky and a little high on the chest, but other than that I can't see anything that needs improvement. Me = not artist, so I trust your artistic judgement in these matters. And really, I did precisely zero research into Japanese daggers, so you're already ahead of me in that regard.

A lot of people seem concerned that he's going to be crazy once he gets his ass free. Not to give anything away, but as I've said before HotM!Sess leads a rich (though largely confused) inner life, and also seems to have little trouble shutting his brain off when he wants to. He's also an optimist in his own weird way, so... between you, me, and anyone else who reads this, I wouldn't worry about him too much.

Whew! I was hoping that would be the case! He seems to be one that has ample mental discipline - If he finds enlightenment after having meditated for 500 years, he'll probably be the first demon Buddha!
Yeah the first 100 years would definitely be the toughest, but at least he has something to look forward to! And he doesn't have to do paperwork in the meantime! Just the not-knowing if Kagome lived or died might bother him a bit... Of course, it makes absolutely no difference to him in the end anyway! >_>

Thanks for the feedback! I'll see what I can do about his armour. Should it be more form-fitting like Kouga's? It was pretty bulky before when he had the fluff, just didn't have the ridges (I carried those over from the shoulder bits). And what's that about not being an artist? I've seen your pictures! Don't give me that! No Ma'am, I don't buy it!
